I (Dr. Gwanui Hong) am a Principal Researcher at the Medical Research Center, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine. I earned my Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Sungkyunkwan University and conducted extended postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania, USA, where I studied molecular mechanisms of protein homeostasis. Having recently returned to Korea, my current work focuses on cellular senescence in stem cells, emphasizing organelle stress, metabolic imbalance, and protein aggregation in aging. I have published more than 20 papers in international journals and currently serve as a Scientific Reviewer for the Korea Science and Technology Evaluation Committee.
