Hind is a third-year PhD student in the College of Social Sciences at the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, at the age of 32. She earned her master’s degree at King Saud University in Riyadh in 2020 and is a faculty member at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University. She gained two years of teaching experience after her master’s degree and before starting her PhD programme. Her doctoral research focuses on ageing and older people and consists of two studies. The study presented here is one of them, exploring social participation and well-being among older people in Saudi Arabia
