Dr. Roland Dickerson is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. He also serves as Clinical Coordinator and Clinical Pharmacy Specialist with the Nutrition Support Service at Regional One Health in Memphis. Dr. Dickerson is a board-certified nutrition support pharmacist and has been engaged in clinical practice, education, and research since completing his Nutrition Support Fellowship in 1983. He currently has over 170 publications in peer-reviewed journals of which many have led to improvements in the clinical care of critically ill patients who require parenteral or enteral nutrition therapy. These works have been incorporated into numerous organizational guidelines and position papers and have led to international recognition via awards from various nutrition and pharmacy societies
