Ashley Morgan is a doctoral candidate in her final year of study at the School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University. Her research interests including aging, mobility
and cognition, exercise prescription and adherence, and the prevention of functional decline. Ashley’s thesis investigates the impact of a home-based high-intensity functional strength training program in older adults who have preclinical mobility limitations following an injury from a slip, trip, or fall. She is a Registered Physiotherapist (PT) with a clinical background in orthopaedics and has been involved as an instructor in the Master’s of Physiotherapy program at McMaster University for several years.
