Dr. Florence Fong serves as the Senior Lecturer at the Asia Pacific Institute of Ageing Studies at Lingnan University. Prior to her return to academia, she held a pivotal role as a Senior Researcher at the Labour and Welfare Bureau (2019-2022) and served in the Central Policy Unit (2010-2018), where her research was instrumental in addressing deep-seated social issues and contributing to major policy formulations. Her diverse research interests include aged care policies, Gerontechnology, family relationships, and labour and welfare dynamics. Dr. Fong has a robust track record of orchestrating community projects and developing protocols to evaluate the efficacy of interventions and service delivery models. In the "eMemory Kits" project, she applied this extensive experience by helping to guide the collective implementation of the research process, including the co-development of the evaluation framework and the analysis of multi-stakeholder feedback to ensure a user-centred and evidence-based outcome.
