Biography

Anneke has expert knowledge in Health Services Management and extensive personal experience with health professional identities and the dynamics of professional relationships. She completed her PhD in Commerce in 2003 and since entering academe in 2002, her scholarly work focuses on closing the research to practice gap through knowledge translation, implementation and sustainability in healthcare management contexts. As an organisational behaviouralist, she has completed 19 Higher Degree by Research Students, over 160 peer reviewed publications and a little more than AU$34 mil external research income.  Anneke is the initiator of the Griffith University intergenerational practice research program and founder of the Australian Institute for Intergenerational Practice (AIIP).  Her working career spans more than 40 years in both health industry and academe, and her focus has been on understanding and changing people’s organisational behaviours to serve, promote and protect the health of all Australians.
